Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg donated $100 million Facebook stock

According to ReCode, Facebook’s chief operating officer, Sheryl Sandberg, donated nearly $ 100 million worth of Facebook shares to a special fund for charitable donations.

The company disclosed the news in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The documents show that these stocks were donated by Sheryl Sandberg at the end of July. According to people familiar with the matter, Sheryl Sandberg handed the stock to a donation advisor fund managed by Fidelity, which donated the money to charitable organizations or businesses that she cared for, including her own charity: LeanIn.org, which promotes the empowerment of women, and OptionB.org, which helps people overcome sadness and adversity, is Sheryl Sandberg’s her husband, Dave Goldberg, in 2015 Founded.
